Annotation

Addressing the problems of increasing the efficiency of beekeeping enterprises is one of the most important tasks of the modern development of its economy and society as a whole. Breeding and keeping bees directly or indirectly affects the social effectiveness of the areas where beekeeping has become widespread. The value of beekeeping enterprises is increasing due to the utilization of useful properties of its products (food, medical, technological and other), as well as increasing the need (due to the mass deaths of other insect pollinators) of bee pollinating activities. Unlike most agricultural industries that use entomophilic plants as feedstock, beekeeping provides reproduction of the function of natural and artificial biocenoses. Thus, beekeeping enterprises contribute to the restoration and multiplication of resource potential of agriculture, forestry and parks.

Achieving the beekeeping business optimal balance between the desired rate of economic growth and the ability of the reproduction process is the main task of managing economic sustainability in today's market conditions. The article explores technological methods and means of obtaining commodity honey on the example of company in Dnipro. In Ukraine, more than 30 inter-farm bee companies have been established, specializing in the production of honey and other bee products. These enterprises will determine the further development of beekeeping based on the implementation of the latest achievements in science, technology and best practices. Factors and techniques of sustainable development of economic efficiency of honey production are revealed.

The importance of bees in addressing the social efficiency of the population in rural areas and cities, where interest in beekeeping enterprises is increasing and there is a trend of increasing consumption of bee products.  Beekeeping enterprises provide additional employment for various groups of population, contribute to increasing their income through the sale of surplus products.  Beekeeping is also a type of active wellness.  The deliberate use of bee products in the diet, especially for industrial staff categories, significantly reduces their susceptibility to a number of diseases. Ukraine has favorable natural and economic conditions for the development of beekeeping, and has a sufficient forage for this purpose, which is represented by natural and agricultural honey-bearing areas.
